IT Hardware Deployment Tech
Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled IT Hardware Deployment Technician to support the rollout, configuration, and maintenance of hardware systems across our organization. This role involves hands-on deployment of desktops, laptops, peripherals, and mobile devices, as well as providing basic end-user support and documentation. Key Responsibilities: + Deploy, configure, and test desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT hardware in accordance with company standards. + Perform imaging and reimaging of systems using deployment tools (e.g., SCCM, MDT, or similar). + Install and configure operating systems, software applications, and security updates. + Maintain accurate inventory records of deployed hardware and assist with asset tracking. + Troubleshoot and resolve hardware-related issues during and after deployment. + Collaborate with IT support teams to ensure smooth onboarding of users and proper system functionality. + Provide basic training and support to end-users on new hardware and software. + Document deployment procedures, configurations, and issue resolutions. Qualifications: + 1–3 years of experience in IT support or hardware deployment roles. + Proficiency with Windows OS and common deployment tools. + Familiarity with Active Directory, basic networking, and remote support tools. + Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. + Ability to lift and move equipment as needed (up to 50 lbs). + Excellent communication and customer service skills. Preferred: + CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar certifications. + Experience in enterprise or multi-site deployment environments. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $25.00/hr.
