IT Financial/Capital Planner
What We Are Looking For: Lynch is seeking an experienced Budget and Financial Management SME to support a range of financial activities, including budget planning, financial reporting, and acquisition-related analysis. The position involves day-to-day financial operations and strategic advisory responsibilities to help ensure strong fiscal management and compliance with Federal financial requirements. Requirements: + U.S. Citizenship (Required). + Active Public Trust Clearance (Required). + BA/BS Degree (Required). + 10 years of related work experience. + Must live in the greater Washington D.C. region: Virginia, the District of Columbia, or Maryland. + This is a hybrid position. Team members will work three (3) days onsite at Rockville, MD, and two (2) days remote (WFH).  Skills: + Assist with the preparation and coordination of budget submissions and financial planning materials in alignment with applicable guidance and policies. + Monitor and maintain detailed records of funding transactions, including commitments, obligations, and expenditures. + Perform financial analysis and reporting to support forecasting, reconciliation, and spending plan reviews. + Prepare and deliver routine and ad hoc financial reports, dashboards, and data summaries for leadership, using appropriate tools and systems. + Analyze historical financial data to support development of multi-year budget projections and trend assessments. + Provide support for Federal financial reporting requirements, including reconciliation of financial data and compliance reviews. + Contribute to the review of procurement and funding documents, ensuring consistency with available budget authority and financial policy. + Collaborate with stakeholders to track financial activity across multiple projects or investments, helping to identify potential risks or areas requiring adjustment. + Support internal processes for improving the efficiency and transparency of financial operations, including documentation of procedures and internal controls. + Assist leadership with materials and analysis for budget briefings, acquisition planning, and performance reviews.
