Aspirus Wausau Hospital in Wausau, WI is seeking a FIELD SERVICE TECH TEAM LEAD to join our INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY  team!


The IT Field Services Team Lead manages the workload of the Regional Field Services Team. The Team Lead is responsible for resourcing day to day operations and projects throughout their assigned region. Provides task management, priority setting and issues management to a team of Field Services Technicians. Mentors team and other IT employees and promotes a team environment. Works collaboratively with the Logistics Coordinator to ensure projects and MACDs are appropriately resourced. Acts as a liaison to the customer and Information Technology by promoting customer service at all levels. In conjunction with the Regional IT Manager and System IT Operations Director, supports the goals and direction of the department and organization. The Team Lead role is differentiated from Manager role in that Manager does people management, hiring, promotions and disciplinary actions, performance reviews, salary equity, FML, and other personal needs and goals of the team members and is responsible for team budget and resource forecasting.

HOURS: Full-Time or 1.0 FTE, 80 hours every 2 weeks. 

Experience/Qualifications

Associate degree or higher in Information Systems or related fieldMinimum of 5 years’ experience in a Health Care Information Technology related role supporting end-user devices in a hospital or clinic setting.Required; ITIL 4 Foundation CertificationRequired; Successful completion of one or more of the following IT certifications; Microsoft Exam MD-100, Microsoft Exam MD-101, CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+.Possesses analytical skills necessary to develop and implement appropriate changes to programs and systems.Must possess excellent communication and organizational skills to work effectively with a team environment.Thorough knowledge of operational processes and process improvement is beneficial.Demonstrates critical thinking and reasoning skills.Ability to serve as project resource on small to medium projects.Ability to work on multiple priorities effectively.Ability to prioritize conflicting demands.Ability to execute assigned project tasks within established schedule.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Ability to communicate effectively in the service of users and colleagues. Writes and communicates clearly and concisely.Possesses sound documentation skills.Ability to maintain confidentiality.Demonstrates exemplary customer service skills
