NTT DATA Services currently seeks an IT Field Service Technician to join our team in the Modesto/Merced/Turlock CA area. This is a 3+ month contractor role. Must have own vehicle-will be reimbursed mileage Pay rate $25 per hour Will assist in running service calls and installing computer and printer hardware in store locations. Locations to be visited will be in the Modesto, Turlock & Merced, CA area. Some drive times may be several hours in each direction. A permanent employee will provide direction and support on a daily basis. Worker must have valid driver's license and reliable transportation to drive themselves between several store locations on a daily basis. Must have previous hardware repair experience, have ability to work on their own, lift 75lbs, work flexible hours, complete required paperwork and have excellent customer service skills. Schedule will be 40 hours per week and might include weekends and holidays as part of normal work days. This is not a “work from home” position, it requires driving to different stores throughout the day. Individuals are responsible to repair, stage, configure and QA IT hardware to stores and field service technicians. This position will also refurbish and QA returned store hardware equipment. Constant walking and standing. Duties: Administer asset tracking using stores software systems. Provide staging, configuration and bench repairs of specific store hardware. Process all applicable warranty claims. Accurately record all production details and inventory movements. Refurbish and QA returned store hardware equipment. Experience: -Technical individual with 2 year technical school, Technical certifications (ex.
