Job Description

This is a partly independent IT role where there is strong emphasize on a self-driven work, but all times have to follow the core IT rules, expectations and SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures).

IT all-rounder, mainly generic field service, but including on-premises servers, network devices, furthermore laboratory equipment, mobile phones.

The main platform is Microsoft Windows, branded computers (Intel, AMD) and Android phones. No Apple on computer side, maybe some Apple mobile phone. There are some Linux servers as well and VMware as hypervisor.

You have to be able to

install a Windows OS desktopjoin to AD domaindo AD domain user administrationdo hardware maintenanceWindows OS level patching, trouble shootingprinter support, local and network printers as well, there are label printers tooLinux, SQL, MS SQL related exposure rewardedLAN related knowledge and experience is a must, such as cabling, switches, VLANs

This is a mainly on-site role, one shift daytime work from Monday to Friday. The role is partly customer facing, main customer group is local business colleagues however later on has to provide support for other Hungarian and regional laboratories as remote support.

There is also an ongoing IT transformation project at the company at least until the end of the calendar year. You have to be take part in this diverse and challanging process as well.
