**Job Summary**
The Network Engineer designs, deploys, and maintains robust network infrastructures, including routers, switches, firewalls, and cloud networking components, to ensure secure and efficient operations. This role involves managing datacenter networks, implementing VPNs, configuring SD-WANs, and maintaining Wi-Fi connectivity while providing third-level support for network incidents to minimize downtime. Additionally, the engineer develops and updates network documentation, collaborates with teams to optimize traffic flow, and integrates security technologies to safeguard network integrity.
Role Description
• Design, deploy, configure, and maintain network routers, switches, and firewalls to ensure robust network infrastructure.
• Manage and maintain datacenter network switches and controllers for optimal performance.
• Configure, deploy, and troubleshoot IPSec VPNs on routers and firewall platforms to secure network communications.
• Implement and manage public cloud networking components to support cloud-based operations.
• Deploy and maintain Wi-Fi controllers and access points to ensure reliable wireless connectivity.
• Configure and maintain SD-WAN controllers and endpoints to optimize network traffic flow.
• Implement network access security controllers to safeguard network integrity and access.
• Manage the deployment and maintenance of network load balancers to distribute traffic effectively.
• Provide third-level support for network incidents and problems, ensuring quick resolution and minimal downtime.
• Develop and update comprehensive network documentation to support operational continuity and knowledge sharing.

Skill Level Requirements
• Ability to understand and articulate various security technologies, including firewalls, wireless network controllers, IPSec VPNs, endpoint protection, email security, and identity management, to identify and address customer security challenges - Intermediate
• Proficiency in administering Wi-Fi access points and controllers from major manufacturers to maintain reliable wireless connectivity. - Intermediate
• Experience in configuring Cisco routers and switches to ensure efficient network operations. - Intermediate
• Experience in configuring and troubleshooting network routing protocols such as BGP and OSPF for efficient data routing. - Intermediate
• Knowledge of AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud Platforms preferred - Intermediate
Other Requirements
• Completed Bachelor’s Degree or relevant work experience required
• 3-5 years of experience deploying and configuring Cisco routers and switches
• Advanced certification such as CCNA required
• Advanced certification such as CCNP preferred
The estimated annual pay range for this position is $70,000 - $125,000. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, medical, vision, dental, 401K, and flexible spending.
