The global Information Technology (IT) Function is leading efforts to align IT and Business Strategy, leverage IT investments, and optimize end to end business processes and associated information integration technologies. Through these efforts, IT helps to improve the competitive position of Corning's businesses through IT enabled processes. IT also delivers Information Technology applications, infrastructure, and project services in a cost efficient manner to Corning worldwide.
**ROLE PURPOSE**
Overall IT leader for Solar MAP (Market Access Platform). Responsible for partnering with the General Manager and his leadership team, to help build, integrate, streamline and grow the newly added business segment for Corning. Initial focus to be on new plant start up, acquisitions, organizational alignments, system integrations, process standardization and optimization. This position reports to the DVP & CIO for Display, Life Sciences, Auto, Mobile Consumer Electronics and Solar MAPs.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
+ Responsible for overall IT strategy for the Solar MAP, and its execution in alignment with business priorities.
+ Responsible for working with relevant teams to brainstorm and recommend an approach and roadmap for the evolution of Digital & IT systems across all of business divisions within Solar.
+ Understand, anticipate, and shape demand to ensure services deliver expected business value, while adhering to IT total cost in alignment with industry benchmark.
+ Ensures that business functions across Solar are following global D&IT standards in terms of business processes, technologies, data and information security.
+ Responsible for identifying, prioritizing and executing on opportunities to drive business innovation through various D&IT initiatives.
+ Build strong, credible, and influential business partnerships to enable and drive change with key stakeholders. Fosters an environment of collaboration and teamwork between IT organizations and between IT and business teams to ensure creation of “best in class” D&IT support for Solar.
**REQUIRED EDUCATION**
+ BS in Computer science or related field. Advanced degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field a plus.
+ Leadership, six sigma/lean and/or change management trainings a plus.
**REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE**
+ 12+ years of experience as an IT Leader in large, global, matrixed business environments.
+ 8+ years of industry experience within manufacturing industry.
+ 5+ years of experience managing complex/global acquisition integrations.
+ 3+ years of experience as overall IT leader/Director/Divisional CIO for a business division/segment/function.
+ 3+ years of experience managing a full-fledged ERP (SAP/Oracle) implementation with heavy supply chain focus.
**REQUIRED SKILLS**
+ Proven track record of successfully delivering measurable business value through Digital, Data & Technology Transformation initiatives.
+ Experience managing people, process, technology aspects of >1 acquisition integrations.
+ Proven track record of partnering with critical business functions to brainstorm and develop a clear D&IT strategy and roadmap, as well as getting buy-in and funding for its execution.
+ Strong ability to hire, retain and develop key talent as well as work through matrixed teams with dotted/no reporting lines.
+ Proven track record of working with and influencing C suite stakeholders to drive global and cross-functional changes.
+ Strong experience in supporting, optimizing and transforming complex supply chain operations within a manufacturing industry.
**DESIRED EXPERIENCE**
+ Led global digital/data transformation initiatives, in a manufacturing environment.
+ Desired: 3+ years of experience as a data/digital transformation leader.
+ Basic understanding of cyber security framework, its relevance and significance for continuity of business operations.
**LOCATION/TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS**
+ Can be based in either Hemlock, MI (will provide relocation assistance) or if currently based in Phoenix, AZ.
+ Hybrid, with travel every other week to the site/plant.
+ Up to 50% travel between Hemlock and Phoenix, and some travel to Corning HQ in New York.

The range for this position is $192,836.00 - $265,150.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position are dependent on hours worked and may include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, pension plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, and PTO.
