The IT Desktop Support Technician will provide end user support to internal stakeholders. This position will follow and document procedure and manage incidents and tasks to resolution or escalate if needed. This position is responsible for keeping current on technologies in order to provide effective support for the desktop environment.
Responsibilities
Provide level II desktop support of PC equipment including laptops, desktops, virtual machines, software, printers, mobile devices and peripherals by troubleshooting and resolving standard technical problems; document, track and monitor incidents and work orders per set service level agreement standards; and provide timely feedback to customers during and upon resolutionProvide level II support of Microsoft suite of products including M365 & Windows OSPerform Desktop/Laptop Imaging and application installations in accordance with policies and standardsMaintain inventory of assetsOther duties as assignedMinimum Qualifications
High school diploma from an accredited school or equivalent GED1 years of experience providing desktop hardware, desktop application or operating system software supportMust be eligible to work in the United States without the need for work visa or residency sponsorshipAdditional Qualifications
Strong written and verbal communication skillsExcellent customer service skillsStrong organizational skills with attention to detailExcellent interpersonal and time management skillsPreferred Qualifications
