CTG's long-standing Fortune 500 client of over 15 years has a W2 contract assignment for an IT Desktop Support/Field Services Support. Type: Contract Job Title: IT Desktop Support / Field Services Support Location: Hemlock, MI Candidates must be able to commute and work onsite in Hemlock, MI Pay Rate: Based on experience Work Hours: M-F 8am–5pm Education: High school diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred Description The selected candidate will provide frontline technical support for end users, performing troubleshooting, imaging, deployment, hardware/software installations, and other hands-on IT support duties. This position requires the ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and interact professionally with users and IT stakeholders. Requirements • 1–2 years of desktop support experience • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision • Strong customer service and troubleshooting skills • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Proficient in time management and task prioritization • Must be a self-starter and able to work effectively in a team environment Required Qualifications Education • High school diploma required • Associate’s degree preferred Qualifications • Active Directory administration experience • Limited support for corporate mobile devices • Experience with Microsoft and third-party cloud applications • Troubleshooting Cisco VPN connectivity • Remediation and prevention of antivirus threats • Support for remote connection and remote tools utilization • Imaging and deployment of Microsoft workstations • Asset lifecycle management experience • Familiarity with multiple browsers (Edge, Chrome, etc.) • Installation and configuration of software packages and security tools • Troubleshooting and installing printers, including ink replacement • Occasional support for Mac OS and Mac hardware • Handling end user equipment moves (disconnect/reconnect) • Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving technology and process-related issues • Collaboration with media team, corporate events, and IT for meeting support • Ticket assignment/escalation to appropriate support teams • Escorting IT vendors when necessary • Documentation and records management • Training new hires and providing conference room support • Flexibility to shift priorities quickly • Maintain confidentiality and handle business matters discreetly • Provide remote and onsite technical assistance, including smart hands tasks Additional Information • No third party resumes will be accepted • Drug testing and/or other employment-related inquiries may be conducted • CTG will consider for employment qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with the requirements of all applicable local, state, and federal laws • All interested individuals MUST be able to work on a W2 Tax basis (no C2C or third party vendors) • CTG is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer • CTG is an E-Verify Company To be considered for this opportunity, please apply directly through our website by clicking the link below or email your Word version resume and salary expectations to Anisha.Muralidhar@ctg.com.
