IT Desktop support
JSG is hiring an IT Desktop support for 3+ months for our client in South Bay. 

Pay rate: $35-$39 DOE
 
Job Description: Associate degree or equivalent certification in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Proven experience in IT support or help desk roles, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment. Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and common business software applications. Familiarity with network fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN technologies. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical users. Certification such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA). Experience supporting manufacturing execution systems (MES) or industrial control systems (ICS). Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and experience implementing security protocols in a corporate environment. Hands-on experience with virtualization technologies and cloud services. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple support requests and projects simultaneously. Provide first-line technical support to employees by diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues. Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, peripherals, and software applications specific to manufacturing operations. Monitor and maintain network infrastructure, including switches, routers, and wireless access points to ensure optimal performance. Assist in the setup and support of manufacturing equipment interfaces and related IT systems to ensure smooth production workflows. Document technical issues and resolutions, maintain inventory of IT assets, and escalate complex problems to senior IT staff as needed. Conduct regular system backups, updates, and security checks to protect company data and maintain compliance with IT policies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support IT projects, including hardware upgrades and software deployments. #D800
