And because our work spans so many different businesses, from Research and Product Development to Sales, you'll keep learning exciting new approaches. **About the role** The IT&D Senior Manager - FinOps Global Reckitt Cloud will be responsible for continuous analysis and optimisation of Reckitt's ~£30-40m Multi-Cloud (Azure, AWS & GCP) spend. The role will report directly to the IT&D Director Reckitt Cloud and will be accountable for providing visibility, reporting, standards and optimisation opportunities to all IT&D Product streams and the IT&D Leadership team. They will create dashboards/reports to provide visibility of the budgeted vs actual spend for various stakeholders (platforms/products/leadership) and drive cost optimisation initiatives across the organisation including cultural awareness of FinOps and GreenOps. **Your responsibilities** + Develop and implement strategies to optimise cloud costs and resource efficiency. + Monitor cloud spend, identify savings opportunities, and reduce waste. + Collaborate with finance and business teams on budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. + Ensure cloud governance, compliance, and adherence to FinOps standards. + Design and manage cost allocation and chargeback frameworks for financial transparency. + Work with engineering to right-size resources, automate, and apply cost-saving tools (e.g., RIs, Savings Plans). + Support and engage the FinOps community to promote best practices and capability building. + Provide cost visibility and insights to IT&D leadership and stakeholders. + Align with architects, product leads, and finance partners to drive optimisation and standards. + Collaborate across IT, engineering, and business units to ensure financial accountability. + Partner with vendors and procurement to control spend and support sourcing processes (RPI/RFP). **The experience we're looking for** + Extensive experience (typically 8+ years) in financial management, cloud cost optimization, or a similar role within the cloud computing industry. + Strong understanding of cloud services (Azure, AWS & Google Cloud) and their pricing models, including knowledge of resource tagging, cost allocation, and billing mechanisms and committed based discounts. + Experience on PowerBI and APPTIO (IBM) is preferable. + Experience in technical understanding of cloud vendor services and ways to be more efficient. + Proficiency in financial analysis and forecasting, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights. + Solid understanding of financial management principles, budgeting, and cost control methodologies. + Experience with cloud management platforms and cost optimization tools (e.g., CloudHealth, Cloudability, FinOps Organisation Framework). + Excellent leadership and people management skills, with a proven track record of building and leading high-performing teams. + Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. + Analytical mindset with the ability to think strategically and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment. + Strong technical knowledge in Multi-Cloud Environments (Azure, AWS & GCP) + Certification in Azure/AWS/GCP /FinOps practitioner is preferable. **The skills for success** Product Development, system development, Project Management, Programme Management, Design Thinking, Process Automisation, IT Service Management, Innovation Processes, Innovation, User Experience Design, Change Analyst, Change Management, Digital Transformation, Value Analysis, Change Management, Adoption, Technology Adoption Lifecycle, Stakeholder Relationship Management, Vendor Management, Outstanding Communication, stakeholder engagement, Digital Strategy, Product Solution Architecture, Cyber Security Strategy, Cyber Security, Data Privacy, Portfolio Management, Data Governance, Product Compliance, Media Analytics, advertising, Consumer Engagement, Market Value, Market Chain, Data Driven Practices, Advanced Analytics, Data Analytics, Governance. **What we offer** With inclusion at the heart of everything we do, working alongside our four global Employee Resource Groups, we support our people at every step of their career journey, helping them to succeed in their own individual way.
