Job Description
The IT Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our technology infrastructure. This position primarily involves troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues for both Windows and Apple devices, managing video conferencing systems, and maintaining IT support areas.
ResponsibilitiesTroubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues for Windows and Apple devices.Troubleshoot basic video conferencing issues both in person and remotely.Document issues using the ServiceNow ticketing system.Build, configure, and deploy workstations.Install and configure approved software.Maintain the IT Support lab, storage, and deployment areas.Utilize inventory management processes for computing devices, peripherals, and components.Participate in the afterhours on-call rotation.Provide White Glove, VIP support.Identify incident trends and alert appropriate teams of systemic issues.Work closely with operations, engineering, network, and security teams to facilitate resolutions to open requests and incidents.Identify process improvements and other enhancements that improve operational efficiency.Create and update documentation for existing processes.Handle other projects and duties as assigned.Essential SkillsBachelor’s degree in Information Systems or equivalent experience.Ability to troubleshoot personal technology devices, including Microsoft Windows laptops, desktops, Apple laptops, and iPads.Familiarity with both Windows and Mac OS troubleshooting.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.Experience with Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and other meeting collaboration tools.Active Directory experience.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience running meetings in an auditorium setting.SCCM, Intune, and Azure experience.Familiarity with remote support tools such as remote desktop and LogMeIn Rescue.Understanding of basic networking concepts.Familiarity with Cisco network and video conferencing equipment.Phone system support experience.Ability to remain calm in a fast-paced, changing environment.Strong organizational, prioritization, and planning skills.Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Work Environment
This is a hybrid role requiring three days per week on-site in Newton, MA. The position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a growing company. Initially a long-term contract, there is potential for transition to a permanent role if opportunities arise.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $30.00/hr.
