Detailed Job Description:

Provide expert-level administration and problem resolution for all components of IBM MQ, IBM MQ advanced and IBM Integration Bus (IIB) (Mainframe and Distributed Linux), Monitoring and Administration tools like Avada IR360 or Nastel Autopilot. Experience in Solace PubSub+, Intercope Box, AWS cloud services such as Kinesis, SQS, SNS, Lambda. Lead Installations, upgrades, configurations and maintain various middleware software products, on premises and in the cloud, including IBM MQ Server (Mainframe and Distributed Linux), IBM Integration Bus, Intercope Box, Solace PubSub+, Monitoring and Administration tools Avada IR360 & Nastel Autopilot Expertise in configuring and debugging channel connections to client sites Perform any and all administrative functions including setup, deployment, configuration, administration, troubleshooting and enterprise level automation related to all above products. Ability to lead and deliver multiple concurrent agile projects/tasks on time and a focus on quality. Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related study and/or equivalent experience 5+ years in an z/OS MQ Administrator Role 5+ years in a Distributed Linux MQ Administrator Role 5+ years in an IBM Integration Bus Administration Role Knowledge of MQ API’s as utilized by high-level programming languages (C, C++, JAVA, JMS, COBOL, etc.) Knowledge of Linux, zLinux, z/OS UNIX System Services and z/OS MVS environments a plus Experience working on event driven messaging solutions/products Understanding of the cloud (AWS) technologies/services Knowledge of industry monitoring and performance tools (MAINVIEW, Autopilot, IR360, TMON, etc.) Working knowledge of DevOps Agile methodologies, Data analysis tool like Splunk and ITIL/ITSM process and related tool like ServiceNow An understanding of TCP/IP protocols and Knowledge of digital certificate nomenclature (e.g. SSL encryption) and related administration Programming skills in Assembler, Rexx and Cobol
