Rockwell Automation has an opening for a Communications Analyst in the IT organization taking lead for general communications to both enterprise and internal IT communications. The Communications Analyst will play a pivotal role in communicating our digital direction both internally to IT and to the broader enterprise. You will be critical to ensure that the Office of the CIO is communicating critical information timely in appropriate methodologies. In addition to formal and informal communications, the Communications Analyst will ensure that we have sustainable platforms with current content. Other responsibilities may include hosting and facilitating different forums where communication is important such as IT all employee meetings, listening sessions and PI Planning.

You will report to the Director, Results Delivery Office and is located at Rockwell Automation's world headquarters in Milwaukee, WI, USA.

Your Responsibilities:

Determine what platforms and forums are appropriate for several types of formal or informal communicationsDevelop and manage a centralized calendar for the IT organization with important datesSupport the marketing and branding of different IT programs and digital innovationsEnsure that IT has a common hub or landing page for internal IT communicationsLead the planning, content and facilitation of events including all employee meetings, listening tours, etcValidate consistency, accuracy and customer experience with communications being delivered from IT to the enterprise regarding procedures, updates and changes to current practicesEnsure that IT maintains current and quality data in share points, Teams and other platforms and creating an archiving strategy for old dataPartner with GEBS communications analyst to ensure that all information and important messages are being shared within GEBS and all other global locations as applicableDetermine creative methodologies to communicate best practices and tips for using emerging technologies to increase productivity and user experience across the company

The Essentials - You Will Have:

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of relevant work experience.Legal authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.

Typically requires 5+ years of experience facilitating and coordinating large forums and eventsBachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related fieldCreativity to develop new strategiesAbility to break down complex subjects into engaging and understandable contentFluent in EnglishExperience with Microsoft Teams curation and best practicesProficient in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Powerpoint and Power BIExpert interpersonal to interface with team members, IT employees and the entire enterpriseAbility to produce high quality presentations, videos and slideshowsStay updated by monitoring industry trends and digital innovations, ensuring RA's messaging remains contemporary and relevantAbility to draft and deliver communications that highlight our digital achievements and ensuring that they resonate with their intended audience
