IT Business System Analyst

Location: Onsite in Memphis, TN; Maryville, TN; Birmingham, AL; Lafayette, LA; New Orleans, LA; Charlotte, or NC; Raleigh, NC., Dallas, TX 

SUMMARY 

The IT Business Systems Analyst will drive the creation, delivery, and support of applications for the Deposit Systems team using the Agile methodology. Documents requirements define scope and objectives and formulate solutions to meet overall business strategies. Coordinate with 3rd party vendors and other information technology teams on requirements; coordinate with line of business, operations partners, project management office and manage other aspects of assigned work. The IT Business Systems Analyst should be well-versed in mainframe standards, and technologies.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES  Accomplish team goals and objectives in accordance with company policies and goals to ensure optimum efficiency and effectiveness. Team players who can develop skills, have a willingness to learn, and support other team members. Provides Deposit Product System Support with a focus on Hogan for related Business Units for both set-up and maintenance activities. Provide Liaison Services between Business Units and vendors. Analyzes business and user needs, documents requirements and translates into system/customer requirements specifications using business and functional requirements documentation. Work with team members to balance LOB and Operations demands against internal capacity, roadmap commitments, and expectations from LOB and Operations. Use Agile methodology to manage Hogan team workload and coordinate work with other teams. Possess ability to manage multiple activities and multiple projects. Adhere to First Horizon Bank security practices. Support tactical and strategic plans of the Deposit Systems team, IT Division, and the FHB organization Formulates and defines systems scope and objectives based on user needs and a good understanding of information technology, business processes, and industry requirements.  Advises on methods to improve business processes. Coordinates and participates in proposals, feasibility studies, implementations, and new business development.  Consider the business implications of the application of technology to the current and future business environment. Acts as a liaison between customer and technical solutions/support groups to identify business processes, systems, and product requirements. Researches, identifies and develops solutions to problems. Leads Project Planning, Monitoring, and Reporting Activities for small to medium projects. Performs all other duties as assigned SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES No supervisory responsibilities QUALIFICATIONS

Associates degree and at least 3 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Working knowledge of IBM mainframe. Experience with Hogan Deposit System Experience with the following Hogan modules: CIS – Customer Information System DDA – Direct Deposit Application IDS – Integrated Deposits System ODS – Online Delivery System PAS – Profile and Address System RPM – Relationships and Profitability Manager TDA – Time Deposit Application UMB – Umbrella Ability to use MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point) as needed for job duties and responsibilities. Ability to use Jira and Confluence to manage projects and tasks in the Agile environment. Strategic planner who can collaborate with line of business and operations partners. Strong communication skills, both written and oral, and negotiation skills. Ability to work independently with strong analytical and development skills. Client-service oriented; skilled in establishing and maintaining a high level of client trust and confidence in the group’s knowledge of and concern for clients’ needs Ability to clearly articulate and develop business requirements Experience in creating functional designs from business requirements (FRD) including use cases, screen mock-ups, and prototypes. Ability to balance workload and meet internal/external deadlines. Experience in software development across multiple platforms. COMPUTER AND OFFICE EQUIPMENT SKILLS
