The IT Business Operations Lead is responsible for supporting the business and IT operations for the Enterprise IT Solution Center in Pune, India. This role focuses on planning, coordinating, and driving pivotal initiatives within the Solutions Center, ensuring that all resources, systems, and processes are optimized to meet the evolving needs of the business. They work closely with the IT Solution Center Leaders to translate organizational objectives into actionable plans, ensuring the center’s contributions are aligned with business priorities.
The work is multifaceted and is both strategic and operational in nature. As such, it requires a strong planning, resourcefulness, outstanding organizational and communication skills
**In this role, your responsibilities will be:**
IT Resource Planning & Optimization
+ Collaborate with IT leadership to forecast and allocate elastic resources across projects and operational functions by maintaining transparency into resource availability, skills, and project timeline to ensure optimal utilization.
+ Coordinate between internal teams and external vendors to ensure timely delivery of IT services and project outcomes
+ Track and manage third-party resource contracts, performance, and compliance with service expectations.
+ Translate high-level strategies into resource management plans and execution roadmaps.
+ Develop and report on critical metrics related to resource efficiency, project staffing, and delivery timelines.
Operational Excellence for IT Solution Centre:
+ Collaborate with the Site leadership and other customers to develop, plan, and implement pivotal initiatives for the IT Solutions Center, ensuring alignment with the organization’s long-term goals.
+ Ensure that the operational activities within the Solutions Center are synchronized with Enterprise IT and business priorities by translating high-level strategic objectives into actionable plans.
+ Develop key performance indicators to monitor the effectiveness of pivotal initiatives and ensure continuous improvement in alignment with business priorities.
Process Optimization and Data Analysis:
+ Conduct in-depth analyses of current business processes to identify inefficiencies and develop strategies for improvement, ensuring that operations are streamlined to align with the organization's overall IT strategy.
+ Leverage data collection and analysis to provide actionable insights and recommendations, ensuring that pivotal initiatives are grounded in data-driven decision-making and contribute to continuous operational improvement.
+ Build and edit presentations which may require market research & Internal data for reviews and actionable insights

**For This Role, You Will need:**
+ Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration, IT or related fields
+ Masters or equivalent experience in Business Administration or certification in Operational Management is preferred.
+ 10+ years in IT with a minimum of 4+ years in leadership roles in Software consulting, Inhouse IT Delivery teams.
+ Demonstrated ability in planning, business analysis, or project management role within an IT Service or Internal shared services Organization.
+ Experience of large-scale Enterprise environment or managed IT services
+ Proven experience in developing and driving pivotal initiatives
+ Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple initiatives and resources simultaneously.
+ Familiarity with resource planning, capacity management, and process optimization in an IT or shared service setting.
+ Expert Knowledge about Information Technology & emerging trends
+ Excellent organizational, planning and prioritization skills & capable of working effectively with cross-functional teams and customers.
+ Capacity to lead, manage, and influence teams without direct authority
+ Communication skills in English (written and verbal)
