Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our IT Business Partner Team within a global manufacturing organization. The ideal candidate will serve as a critical liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that IT solutions align with business objectives and deliver tangible value. This role requires a strong combination of analytical, communication, and project leadership skills, as well as hands-on experience with ERP or CPQ systems and data visualization tools.
Responsibilities:
Serve as a strategic partner to business units, translating business needs into clear IT requirements and actionable initiatives.
Lead or manage small to medium-sized IT projects from initiation through implementation, ensuring alignment with business priorities.
Conduct thorough analysis and documentation of complex business processes to identify improvement opportunities and technology solutions.
Facilitate effective communication between technical teams and business stakeholders, translating technical concepts into business-friendly language.
Prepare and deliver presentations to leadership and cross-functional teams to support project proposals, updates, and decision-making.
Utilize data analysis tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and SAP BusinessObjects (BOBJ) to extract insights, support decision-making, and drive continuous improvement.
Advocate for and influence business process changes and IT adoption across departments.
Maintain strong organizational practices to track deliverables, timelines, and stakeholder communications.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 8–10 years of total relevant experience.
Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with ERP applications (e.g., SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards) or a major CPQ application (e.g., Salesforce CPQ, Apttus).
Proven experience leading or managing small-scale IT projects or initiatives.
Strong ability to present and communicate effectively with executive and business leadership teams.
Skilled at interpreting and explaining technical information in a business context.
Proficiency with data analysis and visualization tools: Power BI, Tableau, BOBJ.
Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and influencing skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Preferred Experience/Skills:
Experience with IT infrastructure projects or platforms.
Exposure to or experience with web development technologies and principles.
Experience working in a global or manufacturing environment is a plus.
