This position is for Parker Hannifin’s Composite Sealing Systems Division, located in San Diego (Otay Mesa), California.
GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
The Business Analyst defines, configures, tests, trains and supports business-related information technology requirements and systems. Collaborating with Corporate, Group, and Division subject matter experts and 3 rd party IT vendors, they lead directly, or co-lead, single technology or regional IT projects to deliver the most efficient technology and data solutions across the division. This role is accountable for ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet stakeholders’ expectations.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
+ Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of business process and procedures to effectively identify and implement IT solutions that drive operational excellence.
+ Engage with key business partners to:
+ identify and validate opportunities
+ ensure alignment with business strategies
+ define functional area roadmap
+ Lead project teams that perform analysis of potential solutions based on business requirements, offer recommendations, and collaborates with users and peers to provide functional and technical support.
+ Contribute to and/or lead project teams that are developing or modifying highly complex information solutions.
+ Engage with stakeholders to develop roadmap for core divisional digital solutions and to optimize divisional reporting capabilities.
+ Develop and implement data quality improvement projects.
+ Build reporting and visualization competency throughout the division.
+ Follows established safety and environmental policies, procedures and methods applicable to the work area.
+ Performs other duties as necessary.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
+ Bachelor’s degree in technical field; computer science, information systems or business
Experience:
+ 5+ years related IT or business experience, preferably in roles involving business analysis, or project management
Skills:
+ Excellent written and verbal communication and collaboration skills
+ Strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders .
+ Demonstrated leadership aptitude, learning agility, and adaptability
+ Proven ability to lead teams and manage projects effectively
+ Strong analytical skills with experience in gathering, documenting, and support business requirements
Physical Demands:
+ Ability to lift up to 35 pounds regularly.
+ Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods of time.
+ Ability to use hands and fingers for detailed work over extended periods of time.
+ Ability to perform repetitive tasks with a focus on accuracy and efficiency for extended periods of time.

SALARY INFORMATION:
Please note that the salary range information is only applicable for California. Compensation is based on a variety of factors, candidate experience, qualifications, location as well as market and business considerations. Pay Range: $93,195 annually - $155,514 annually.
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
This role is subject to compliance with the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), which requires the incumbent to be either a US citizen, lawful permanent resident [“green card” holders], or have refugee or asylee status).
