The Solution Designer is a key part of the Back Office Product Group team, and will work with Architecture and Business Solutions teams to provide end to end solution designs, at both a high and a detailed level, for projects and programmes, taking account of business requirements, while ensuring solutions are aligned to in the technical & corporate strategies and are consistent with enterprise architectural roadmaps.

The solution design role flows from idea generation and technical delivery, supporting projects through the full lifecycle.  The Solution Designer will use their knowledge of the application estate and technical options available to design the best value, most fit for purpose solution to meet the business’ needs for the project, while working within the confines of the strategic architectural roadmap.

Candidates should have a background in software delivery and a good rounded technical understanding.  They will need strong analytical skills and the ability to quickly understand complex information.

Experience with Oracle e-Business Suite would be an advantage.

Experience working with supporting functions like HR and Finance would be an advantage.
