KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Architect, build, and maintain CI/CD frameworks for both new and existing software applications.
· Provide self-service tools and systems for teams, along with guidance on DevSecOps practices.
· Develop, recommend, and drive DevSecOps best practices within the organization.
· Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior team members.
· Work independently in complex situations with minimal guidance.
· Build and streamline the automation of software delivery and operations using expertise in the full DevOps lifecycle, including:
o Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
o Source Code Management
o Build Orchestration & Artifact Management
o Testing (Unit, Integration, Functional, Performance, Stress, etc.)
o Compliance Automation & Audit Trails
o Deployment Strategies (Blue/Green, Canary, Rolling Releases)
o Monitoring, Logging, and Log Analytics
· Collaborate with the DevSecOps Center for Enablement (C4E) to align with enterprise practices and share beneficial tools or practices across teams.
· Engage actively with Agile Guilds and DevOps Communities of Practice.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or related technical field (Master's preferred with 3 years of experience).
· Minimum 5 years of experience in software engineering or IT roles with experience in:
o Azure technologies, including backup and restore, ASR, Network NSG, and operational logging.
o Azure network design, including NSG, Gateway, Firewalls, Subnets, and VNets.
o Supporting production Azure deployments.
o Azure coding technologies, including CLI, PowerShell, and ARM templates.
o Terraform deployments using Azure DevOps.
o Working across teams to deliver complete Azure solutions (security, operations, engineering).
· Minimum 2 years of experience in DevOps engineering, focusing on the development and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines.
· Experience with Jenkins for CI/CD automation.
· Experience with Terraform for infrastructure automation.
· Knowledge of SonarCloud for code quality and security analysis.
Preferred Skills:
· Knowledge of Azure security constructs and best practices.
· Experience with containerization and container orchestration.
· Strong understanding of agile practices and participation in agile communities.
