IT Applications Analyst - Senior
**DESCRIPTION** We are looking for a talented IT Applications Analyst – Senior to join our team specializing in Systems/Information Technology for our DAV Systems Department in Daventry, United Kingdom. + This is a Permanent role that will be 50% working onsite – the 1st 6 month training period will require 4 days a week on site at Daventry Monday to Thursday. + The role will also require 10% of domestic and international travel to other UK sites and sites in Australia and America as required. In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: + Lead Game-Changing IT Projects: Spearhead major IT projects using both off-the-shelf software and in-house solutions, delivering real results that drive business performance. + Reimagine Business Processes: Translate business needs into seamless processes and efficient IT solutions—enhancing quality, scalability, and long-term support. + Drive Projects with Precision: Lead projects with confidence using Waterfall or Agile methodologies, staying on time and within budget. Mentor junior team members and elevate the entire team’s delivery. + Stay Ahead of the Curve: Leverage the latest IT advancements to optimize and future-proof our systems—improving capabilities and unlocking new efficiencies. + Keep Systems Running Smoothly: Partner with central IT teams to maintain top-tier system performance, ensuring that business operations never miss a beat. + Bridge the Gap Between Tech and People: Collaborate with stakeholders—from process owners to end users—to ensure our solutions are aligned, user-friendly, and future-ready. + Bring Deep Technical Know-How: Tap into your expertise with Oracle EBS, MES, PLM, and other key tech to design and deliver robust, scalable IT systems. **RESPONSIBILITIES** To be successful in this role you will need the following: + Technical Excellence: Strong hands-on experience with Oracle EBS, MES, and related technologies, including custom development and databases. + Project Leadership: Proven success managing IT projects using Agile or Waterfall, complete with budget estimation and benefit analysis. + Process Insight: A thorough understanding of cross-functional business processes—especially in supply chain and manufacturing. + Infrastructure Fluency: A good grasp of the broader IT infrastructure landscape, helping you build better-integrated solutions. + Strong Collaborator: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ready to work closely with stakeholders at all levels. **QUALIFICATIONS** Education/ Experience: + College, university, or equivalent degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or related subject, or relevant equivalent experience required. + This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations. + Intermediate level of relevant work experience required. **Job** Systems/Information Technology **Organization** Cummins Inc. **Role Category** Hybrid **Job Type** Exempt - Experienced **ReqID** 2412139 **Relocation Package** No
