As an application project specialist, you'll work as part of an agile, multidisciplinary team specializing in manufacturing projects, in close collaboration with our internal partners - the manufacturing plants in Michelin's off-highway business line.
Your role:
You will help us support and resolve complex incidents, by finding workarounds and sharing them with the team. You will also provide guidance to the team on the usage of business applications and offer technical expertise (mentorship) on the ticket resolution, to ensure a growth of knowledge in the team while maintaining a high level of customer service.
We need you for:
Identifies impact and validates priority. Provides technical and functional analysis and provides the solution to users.Identifies and communicates potential workarounds.Informs users on the status of incident processing. Continues from the handling of the incident until its closure.Be an active player in the improvement of the team processes. Propose solutions and alternatives to the selected elements to improve and take ownership of delivering those initiatives.Be a key resource in the IT compliance standards to ensure all work is done correctly by managing the audit tasks within the team.Achieve mastery of at least one or more of the key systems supported by the team (SAP, Fiori, SAP PI/PO, OpenText VIM, BI). Be a key reference point on this system and provide guidance to the other team members.Work on having a smooth handover with the delivery teams. Assist to the knowledge transfers to evaluate the sustainability of the solution from a support perspective.What do you need to possess for being successful?
You hold a bachelor’s degree in computer science, Management Information System or any related discipline or equivalent qualification.You have a minimum of 1-year technical support of SAP (S/4 HANA), with a focus on SD, MM, FI, CO, or LE/EWM Modules.You are at ease in a bilingual environment (French and English), so you can communicate orally and in writing with your colleagues and our international partners.You have collaboration skills to effectively liaise with both business and other IT teams in the organization.You have experience in IT troubleshooting and problem-solving.You are skilled at end-user engagement, support, and technology adoption.You have experience working with cross-functional teams, business users, and technical experts to deliver support.Our Candidate and New Hire Experience Promise:
