IT Analyst III
CTG's long-standing Fortune 500 client of over 15 years has a W2 contract assignment for an IT Analyst III. Type: Contract Job Title: IT Analyst III Location: Wilmington, NC Candidates must be able to commute and work onsite in Wilmington, NC Pay Rate: Based on experience Work Hours: M-F 8am–5pm Education: Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience) Description The IT Analyst III will be responsible for developing, testing, and debugging software, components, tools, and utilities essential for the operation, maintenance, and control of computer systems. This role involves the analysis, design, and development of computer systems while exercising considerable latitude in determining technical objectives for complex projects. The position requires creativity, problem-solving, and the ability to implement modern architectural solutions. The successful candidate will be tasked with converting multiple platforms comprised of COM exe’s and dll’s to a modern architecture such as .NET or .NET Core, implementing best practices, and ensuring optimal system performance. This position requires 40 hours per week onsite with the possibility of overtime. Requirements • Develop, test, and debug applications, components, and tools • Participate in the analysis, design, and development of computer systems • Create technical solutions for moderately complex problems • Work closely with project teams to meet goals and deadlines • Convert legacy platforms to modern architecture (.NET/.NET Core) • Utilize best practices for system development and performance tuning Required Qualifications Education • Bachelor’s degree (IT/Engineering) or relevant equivalent experience Qualifications • 5+ years of experience with .NET Framework or .NET Core • Proficiency in: – .NET Framework/.NET Core application development – C#, Visual Studio.NET, ASP.NET, VB.NET, C#.NET, SQL Server, MVC, SSIS • Experience with UX/UI design and development • Familiarity with client/server RDMS systems Highly Desired Skills • Proficiency with database technology and SQL • Familiarity with Git, Azure DevOps, and GitLab • Experience with WPF, MAUI, WinUI, or Blazor Desired Skills and Experience • Full-stack web application development experience • Windows system troubleshooting skills • Knowledge of Object Relational Models such as Entity Framework or Dapper • Experience developing applications with Windows Presentation Foundation • Application performance troubleshooting and tuning (memory leak detection, debugging, performance optimization) Soft Skills • Ability to work effectively in a small development team • Strong collaboration skills with manufacturing engineering and operations teams • Clear and concise communication with team members, customers, and stakeholders Additional Information • No third-party resumes will be accepted • Drug testing and/or other employment-related inquiries may be conducted • CTG will consider for employment qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable local, state, and federal laws • All interested individuals MUST be able to work on a W2 Tax basis (no C2C or third-party vendors) • CTG is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer • CTG is an E-Verify Company To be considered for this opportunity, please apply directly through our website by clicking the link below or email your Word version resume and salary expectations to Anisha.Muralidhar@ctg.com.
