Together, we are building a better world, so we can all enjoy living in it. **Job Summary** We are seeking a skilled **IT Analyst Applications (Web Developer)** to **Financial Systems Tech Support** - **CAT IT Division.** The incumbent would be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications and serverless solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of cloud-based services and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. The preference for this role is to be based out of **Bangalore, Whitefield PSN Office** **What you will do** + Design and Develop: Create and maintain web applications using Python and REST APIs. This involves writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code to build robust web applications. + Serverless Applications: Implement and manage serverless applications using AWS Lambda and Step Functions. This includes designing and deploying serverless workflows to handle various backend processes. + Database Management: Design, optimize, and manage SQL databases to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval. + API Integration: Integrate third-party services and APIs to enhance application functionality. This includes working with various APIs to fetch and process data as required by the application. + Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize the performance and scalability of web applications and serverless functions. This involves identifying bottlenecks, optimizing code, and ensuring the application can handle high traffic loads. + Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve production issues with AWS-managed services. This involves debugging issues, performing root cause analysis, and implementing fixes to ensure smooth operation of the application. + Documentation: Document codebase and maintain best practices in coding standards. This includes writing clear and concise documentation for the code, APIs, and any other relevant aspects of the application. **What you will have.** + Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field. + Experience: 3+ years of experience in Python development. + Skills: + Proven expertise in AWS Lambda and serverless architectures. + Strong understanding of API integration and cloud-based services. + Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems. + Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. + Strong SQL knowledge and experience with database management. + Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
