Reporting to the Senior Manager IT, the IT Administrator is responsible for ensuring a seamless functioning of our IT landscape; through configuration and maintenance of client and server systems & network administration, supporting Associates with IT requests and participating in continuously improving our processes and outputs.

This position is part of the IT department located in Sterling, VA and will be onsite.

In this role, a typical day will look like:

IT Helpdesk, allocate and solve problems with assigned systems

Manage improvement projects related to all storage, server, and backup systems.

Ensure that servers and services are appropriately updated and patched, ensuring system security and reliability

Support and administration of existing applications

Initiate and manage upgrades and procurement of replacement equipment as required

Participate in daily meetings

Assist in prioritization of projects based on customer input and company priorities

Maintain high standards in terms of written materials/documentation, including system level documentation, change management notifications, infrastructure/ incident reports and monitoring anomalies

The essential requirements of the job include:

3+ years of relevant experience

Knowledge in the field of network technology, IT Helpdesk & User Support and experience with Microsoft client and server environment and Active Directory

Excellent written and verbal communication in English required

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in/skills in:

Digitalization

Independent procurement of IT equipment

High School degree; Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or related field preferred or comparable education

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.

The compensation range for this role is $55,000 - $60,000 USD per year.
