Job Description

The ISS Metrics Analyst plays a critical role in the development, maintenance, and delivery of enterprise-wide security metrics. This position supports risk reduction, performance tracking, and strategic alignment by transforming raw data into actionable insights and executive-level reporting. The analyst collaborates across teams to ensure data accuracy, timely reporting, and continuous improvement of metric processes.

The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there’s an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days at one of the following locations:Cincinnati, OHMinneapolis, MNCharlotte, NCAtlanta, GADenver, COIrving, TXWashington, DC

Key Responsibilities

Maintain and enhance the centralized inventory of ISS metrics, including KRAM, Tier 1 and 2, RAS dashboards and vulnerability to name a few.Collect, validate, and analyze data from enterprise systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Greenplum) to populate scorecards and dashboards.Generate weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports for executive and committee-level consumption.Collaborate with data providers and metric owners to ensure timely and accurate data submissions.Support automation initiatives and roadmap planning for metric reporting tools and processes.Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and working group sessions to align on metric priorities and blockers.Conduct quality control checks and contribute to the development of standardized automated reporting.Provide subject matter expertise on metric definitions, data lineage, and reporting logic.

Preferred Skills/Experience

Typically a Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experienceTypically three to five years of relevant experienceEffective communication and collaboration skillsAbility to articulate complex technical issues in a clear and concise manner

Additional Skills

3+ years of experience in data analysis, reporting, or information security metrics.Proficiency in Power BI, SQL, Power Automate and SharePoint; familiarity with ServiceNow and Greenplum is a plus.Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple reporting deadlines.Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder engagement.Experience working in a regulated financial services environment.Familiarity with JIRA and Agile methodologies.Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for non-technical audiences. Data visualization and story telling with Power Bi.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $105,400.00 - $124,000.00
