To successfully address sustainability, Lenovo collaborates with its entire value chain and in the International Sales organization we are now focusing on our downstream ecosystem that includes channel partners, system integrators as well as customers. The Lenovo 360 Circle, our Channel Sustainability Community, is the foundation of the efforts we are aiming to drive to accelerate our respective journey and ultimately decarbonization is a priority. Our team is looking for a sustainability professional to join our commercial sustainability team and support the increasing demand from customers around product-level sustainability information. This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in sustainability who is eager to learn, grow, and directly support customer engagement.
You will work closely with our Sustainability Success Managers to respond to RFx requirements, manage detailed sustainability questionnaires, and—importantly—become our specialist on customized product-level sustainability data requests, including Product Carbon Footprint (PCF) customization.
In addition, you will help promote our sustainability offerings, enhance our customer-facing materials, and support internal sales team enablement through training and content development.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the completion of RFx documentation and sustainability questionnaires, particularly those related to product-level sustainability.
Manage and evolve as the go-to expert for customer sustainability customization tools, including growing requests for Product Carbon Footprint (PCF) and similar detailed product-level data.
Act as the key liaison with internal experts on customized sustainability data requests.
Support the promotion and explanation of our sustainability value propositions, both internally and externally.
Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of Sustainability Sales Kits and tailored customer-ready content (e.g., slides, FAQs, brochures) and coordinate translations of materials
Collaborate with sales, marketing, product, and sustainability teams to ensure aligned and impactful messaging.
Participate in internal training initiatives and awareness programs, helping upskill the broader sales team on sustainability topics and customer expectations.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Sustainable Business, or a related field5+ years of experience working in sustainability, ESG, or related areas5+ years of experience working with sustainability and ESG concepts, including climate action, lifecycle management, and product-level data transparency5+ years of experience supporting RFx processes or B2B customer requests5+ years of experience using visual and presentation tools (e.g., PowerPoint)
Nice-to-Have:
Familiarity with Product Carbon Footprint (PCF), EPDs, or similar methodologieDetail-oriented and well-organized; able to manage multiple prioritiesProactive and curious, with a willingness to become an expert on customer-facing sustainability tools and custom requestsUnderstanding of corporate sustainability frameworks (e.g., CSRD, GRI, CDP, EcoVadis)Experience or interest in digital tools and platforms used for sustainability reporting or customer data sharing
