Description

The Mainframe IS Technical Specialist Security Administrator position provides technical assistance and support related to requests for internal colleagues. The person will also troubleshoot colleagues' access problems (in person, by telephone, via teams, or email) in a timely and accurate manner and provide end-user assistance where required.  As a member of this fast paced, high volume provisioning team, your daily tasks could also include:

Responsible for controlling application and system access and making sure it is appropriate, while adhering to our security standards and required regulations and controls.Support user access to IBM RACF Mainframe systems and/or applications of low to high complexity (complexity defined by size, technology used, and system feeds and interfaces) with multiple concurrent users, ensuring control, integrity, and accessibility.Work directly with many business areas and technical teams to make sure we meet their needs while adhering to our service level agreements. Explaining UAA policies so the teams understand why they need to request access in a certain way. Effective communication skills are required.Work with the IAM RACF Team to ensure that provisioning meets Huntington's standards.  Help them with defining standards.Responsible for an evergreen process for updating runbooks and standard operating procedures documentation.In addition to provisioning access requests, work on projects, routine testing for upgrades to ticketing system and applications/servers/databases. Interacting with many different business areas such as audit, risk, PMO (project management office), IAM, Cybersecurity, and Infrastructure teams, as well as outside vendors and contractors for technical solutions as well as daily needs.Working towards continuous improvement on our application access procedures and controls including how to automate where needed and provide suggestions for improvements.Work on access review certification removals both infrastructure and application.Monitors requests queue and respond to the service requests and incidentsRoutinely operate as the after-hours on-call for the team which includes responding to any issues and managing the investigation, mitigation, and recovery of the issue(s).Works with Information Security, where needed, in investigations and/or audits/assessments of systems

Job Responsibilities:

Adding/Modifying/removing user access

Identity lifecycle processes

Some of these requests could be for multiple users (bulk)

Attending meetings, providing project support, and proactive risk management and prevention.

Providing user lists with accompanying IPE

Support to provision access from various Access Reviews

Audit/Risk, inquires for User Lists and research regarding execution of tasks provisioned by access administration team
 

Basic Qualifications:

5-10 Years performing provisioning/de-provisioning within the Mainframe utilizing IBM zSecure, RACF and experience with authentication methods and entitlement management5-10 years working experience with Mainframe & IBM zSecure and RACF structure, DB2, Datasets, and reportingFamiliar with z/OS environment including JCL, ISPF, CICS and Rexx.Familiar with Identity and Access Management, least privileged/role-based access concepts5+ years of experience with standard IAM practices (including SOD, RBAC, PAM, and Least Privileged access).

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree10+ years of working experience with Mainframe & IBM zSecure and RACF structure, DB2, Datasets, and reportingRequires basic knowledge of various infrastructure solutionsAdvanced working knowledge of Microsoft Suite toolsDemonstrated self-motivation with a strong ability to work in a fast paced, multi-faceted environmentStrong analytical verbal and written communication skillsMust demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to effectively work well with others across multiple levels of management and business partners
