Detailed Description
Support the Enterprise Middleware Operations team to provide new capabilities, software upgrades and enhancements, and application on-boarding and integration for multiple lines of business, including Business Online Banking, Retail Online Banking, Digital Technology, Huntington Automated Workflow and Capture (HAWC), Document Archive, SOA/Enterprise Services and Support. Provide software production support for an Enterprise-Class Middleware stack using IBM technologies such as WebSphere, MQ, IIB/ACE, Red Hat OpenShift, DataPower, Apache Tomcat, and ColdFusion. Be able to run with long-term project work on top of BAU and On-call Duties. Analyze, design, and develop systems-based solutions, including new capabilities, software upgrades, and enhancements. Assist with application on-boarding and integration. Design solutions using local and geographic clustering, load balancing, HACMP, and SRDF. Create and edit Docker files and pull images from repositories. Provide technical support for application installation and middleware integration and on-call support in a 24 x 7 rotation. Participate in problem management meetings and complete assigned problem tasks.
Job Requirements
BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field.
Five years of Middleware engineering experience using Azure DevOps, SOAP and REST APIs, , and Agile development methodology. Experience must include administering DataPower gateways for both virtual and physical platforms, as well as use of IBM MQ, WebSphere, and Tomcat. Additionally, two years of experience working with Monitoring and Logging tools like Dynatrace, Splunk, DataDog, or DPOD, automation experience using DataPower, and use of OpenShift/Kubernetes on the administration side, is required.
