**Job Location: Toronto/Mississauga, ON (Hybrid)**
**About the job you’re considering**
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Network Architect with hands-on expertise in routing, switching, and load balancing within large-scale data center environments. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in IP network planning and design, with deep technical knowledge of core network services, Cisco technologies, and network architecture.
**Your role**
+ Design scalable and secure IP addressing schemes and network topologies
+ Develop architecture blueprints for data center and enterprise networks.
+ Lead the design, implementation, and delivery of complex network infrastructure projects.
+ Oversee the maintenance, upgrades, and migration of lab and production networks.
+ Translate business requirements into technical solutions and provide ongoing support.
+ Coordinate cross-functional teams and manage project timelines, risks, and deliverables.
**Your skills and experience**
+ 20 years of hands-on experience in routing, switching, and load balancing.
+ Extensive experience in planning and designing IP networks in large data center environments.
+ Deep understanding of IP networking, including:
+ Routing protocols: BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, MPLS
+ Switching technologies and VLAN design
+ IP addressing and subnetting
+ Strong knowledge of core network services:
+ DNS, DHCP, SMTP, NTP, SNMP, Syslog, HTTP/HTTPS
+ Proficiency in Linux networking and command-line tools.
+ Hands-on experience configuring and troubleshooting Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls.
+ Familiarity with load balancers (e.g., F5, Citrix NetScaler, or similar).
