Job Responsibilities:

Develop new techniques to connect legacy equipment to modern infrastructureManage code deployments, fixes, updates and related processesCreate IoT applications that run on-premises and in the cloudSupport creation of technical guidelines, standards and templates for digitalization projects to be scaled across the MML groupSupport the creation of an OT architecture for MML divisions Interface with corporate support divisions to Implement digitalization projectsReceive and provide training to divisional teams related to digitalizationDevelop KPIs, metrics and other monitoring tools to track I4.0 production environmentsProvide detailed specifications to proposed solutions including materials, external services and internal resources requiredActively troubleshoot any issues that arise during testing and production

Professional Experience and Education:

Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Computer Security, Information Systems or equivalent proof of baseline knowledge3+ years experience in software developmentExperience with programming language (ex. Python, C#, JavaScript, C++)Experience with databases and different types of data storage

Skills and Competencies:

Good understanding of IoT, security, communication protocols (MQTT), UNS (Unified Name Space)Familiar with PLC programming in Siemens and Rockwell controllers, among othersFamiliar with source control tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub)Familiar with cloud architecture
