**About the job you’re considering** We are looking for a seasoned Lead iOS Developer with a strong background in Swift and a proven track record of building robust, user-friendly mobile solutions for industrial environments. This role is ideal for someone who understands the unique challenges of field-based applications—such as offline functionality, rugged UI/UX, and integration with enterprise systems—and is passionate about delivering tools that empower frontline workers like aircraft technicians, railroad engineers, and factory operators. **Your role** • Lead the design, development, and deployment of iOS applications tailored for industrial use cases. • Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and backend teams to deliver intuitive and reliable mobile solutions. • Architect scalable and maintainable codebases using Swift and modern iOS frameworks. • Ensure apps are optimized for performance, offline access, and usability in rugged environments. • Mentor junior developers and enforce best practices through code reviews and technical leadership. • Integrate with enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, asset management, IoT platforms). • Conduct field testing and iterate based on real-world feedback from industrial users. **Your skills and experience** • 5 years of iOS development experience with a focus on Swift. • Experience building mobile apps for industrial or field-based environments. • Strong understanding of iOS frameworks (UIKit, Core Data, Core Location, etc.). • Familiarity with offline-first architecture, local data storage, and sync strategies. • Experience with Bluetooth, barcode scanning, or IoT integrations is a plus. • Solid understanding of mobile security and data protection in enterprise settings. • Excellent communication and leadership skills. • Experience with SwiftUI and Combine. • Familiarity with rugged device platforms (e.g., Zebra, Honeywell). • Knowledge of aviation, rail, or manufacturing industry workflows. • Experience with MDM (Mobile Device Management) and enterprise deployment. • Agile/Scrum experience. \#LI-MS4 #LI-ONSITE **Life at Capgemini** Capgemini supports all aspects of your well-being throughout the changing stages of your life and career.
