JOB DESCRIPTION

Fox News is seeking a iOS Developer I to support the development of Fox News and Fox Business mobile and OTT apps. You’ll work in Swift, contribute to stable and scalable releases, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in a pod-based structure. This role also involves maintaining CI/CD pipelines, working with Azure cloud services, and leveraging cutting edge AI tools to enhance development workflows.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and maintain features for iOS and OTT appsWrite clean, maintainable Swift code with clear documentationIdentify and resolve performance issues and technical debtParticipate in code reviews and uphold code quality standardsSupport CI/CD pipelines and cloud-based workflows using AzureWork collaboratively within a pod structure alongside QA, product, and designIntegrate emerging AI tools and workflows into iOS development and testing processesStay up to date on iOS development, DevOps practices, and AI advancements

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

0–2 years of iOS development experience using SwiftFamiliarity with Swift Package Manager, REST APIs, push notifications, and deep linkingExperience with Git, GitHub, and GitflowExposure to CI/CD and Azure-based development environmentsUnderstanding of MVVM, Coordinators, and secure, scalable architecture patternsStrong communication skills and experience working in a pod-based team

NICE TO HAVE, BUT NOT A DEALBREAKER

Degree in Computer Science or related fieldExperience with tvOS, watchOS, SwiftUI, or Google IMA SDK

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $74,000.00-116,350.00 annually. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
