Schedule: Monday–Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Phlebotomist to join our team in a physician’s office setting. This role involves drawing blood, processing specimens, and ensuring accurate and timely handling of biological samples. You will play a vital role in supporting patient care and laboratory operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform blood draws and venipuncture using various techniques, including butterfly needlesCollect and receive biological specimensAccurately enter specimen data into the computer systemPrepare and process samples for analytical testingDistribute specimens to appropriate departmentsPerform pre- and post-analytical testing tasksConduct specified analytical testing as assignedMaintain compliance with all professional standards and the company’s Code of Conduct

Top Required Skills:Phlebotomy (CPT certification required)Blood draw and venipunctureSpecimen collection and processingExperience with butterfly needlesPediatric and geriatric blood drawsStrong customer service and patient care skillsProficiency in laboratory proceduresExperience in a healthcare or medical office setting2–3 years of prior phlebotomy experience

Preferred Qualifications:Must be able to handle difficult sticks and working with cancer patients is a plus.GED or High School Diploma requiredStrong interpersonal skills and integrity

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.36/hr.
