Reporting to the Remote Operations Manager, this permanent role will be based in our Australian head office in Elizabeth Quay in Perth and will work an even time shift roster (seven on, seven off including night shift). We are seeking experienced Operations Technicians to monitor and control platform plant and processes using Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and other advanced tools. The primary responsibility is to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation of the offshore facility. The role involves close collaboration with platform production and maintenance teams located offshore, providing essential support for maintenance activities on the Wheatstone Platform. **Key Responsibilities include:** + Monitoring and control of hydrocarbon processing plant (and associated facilities) located on the Wheatstone Platform. + Liaise with engineering and maintenance teams in Perth and on-site to facilitate plant optimization, troubleshooting and execution of maintenance activities. + Proactively manage and respond to abnormal conditions and emergency situations, providing critical support to the site-based emergency response team as needed. This includes coordinating with team members to ensure a swift and effective response, implementing emergency protocols, and maintaining a high level of operational awareness and response readiness. **about you** We know our greatest resource is the ingenuity, creativity, and innovation of our people. To be considered for this role, applicants should: + Possess extensive knowledge and hands-on operational experience with hydrocarbon plants and processes.
