Come join the Publix Industrial Engineering team supporting our South Florida industrial operations, which include warehousing, transportation, and manufacturing!  As an Industrial Engineer (IE), you’ll collaborate with other IEs and business process owners to identify and drive process improvements promoting efficient, accurate, and safe operations.  Leveraging your engineering skills, systems expertise, and operational knowledge, you’ll support business plans, tactical initiatives, and ad-hoc improvement projects that advance Publix’s strategic goals.

Our South Florida operations include three large distribution centers in Boynton Beach, Deerfield Beach, and Miami.  You’ll also collaborate with the IE team to support improvements for the Dairy and Fresh Kitchen plants in Deerfield, and for the Publix fleet at all three sites.

Responsibilities include:develops and maintains engineered labor standards that are used to schedule, pay, and/or evaluate the performance of Publix associates and suppliersprovides analytical decision support to assigned business areas through the use of core industrial engineering skills, mathematical tools, modeling and computational methods for system analysis, evaluation, and optimizationprovides business guidance and industrial engineering expertise to VP, Sr. Director, Director, Sr. Manager, and Department Managers.identifies process improvements for supported business areas anddirects, plans and coordinates the day to day activities of up to one IE Support Specialist & up to one Student IE.
