Compensation Range
Annual Salary: $70,500.00 - $94,500.00 (Amount based on relevant experience, skills, and competencies.)
About This Job
The main purpose of this job is to provide support to leadership with Investor Relations and Executive and Board support. The position will interface with the investment community and Commerce executive management, providing investor and market intelligence. It will play an integral role in supporting the Manager of Investor Relations, Director of Finance and Corporate Development, the Chief Financial Officer and other executives in preparing for quarterly earnings as well as industry investor conferences and meetings.
Essential Functions
+ Provide updates for investor disclosures (quarterly earnings, quarterly investor presentations, annual shareholder presentation and other external documents), while ensuring consistency of key messaging, regulatory compliance, and best practices
+ Work with the website team to provide updates to the investor relations website. This includes publishing investor disclosures on the investor relations website in a timely manner.
+ Provide research on industry trends and analytical insights about the company’s results compared to peers. Develop compelling and clear messaging to the investor community, while simplifying complex technical topics. Utilize industry analytic tools such as, S&P Cap IQ.
+ Assist with Corporate Responsibility (CR) reporting, including the building of annual Corporate Responsibility report and updates to the CR pages located on the company and the Investor Relations website
+ Prepare logistics for the Executive Chairman, CEO, CFO, General Counsel and Investor Relations for the annual shareholders meeting. This includes scheduling prep meetings and training across internal and external calendars, coordinating executive management travel, room and audio visual set up.
+ Create and compile complex information for presentations and executive meeting materials. This includes information on the economy, industry trends, industry earnings insights and business strategy messaging.
+ Assist with content management for board and executive management committee meetings, including compilation of materials
+ Support leadership with operational support for board, executive management committee and other executive meetings. Includes composing and preparing routine, complex, and highly confidential correspondence, scheduling executive meetings, coordinating director and executive management travel, catering, room set up, event details, presenter logistic information, and audio visual set up.
+ Perform other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required
+ Intermediate knowledge of basic financial concepts and financial statements
+ Ability to assist managing tasks for the group
+ Ability to respect, protect and maintain highly confidential and sensitive information
+ Ability to learn and maintain a solid understanding of Commerce’s operations, financials, business segments and key performance metrics
+ Excellent attention to detail required with a strong drive for data integrity and governance
+ Motivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
+ Ability to remain adaptable and resilient to all situations with an optimistic outlook and cast a positive shadow that is aligned with our culture and Core Values
+ Outstanding interpersonal and relationship building skills with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the company, clearly expressing ideas and concepts both verbally and in writing
+ Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and Outlook
Education & Experience
+ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance/Business, or equivalent combination of education and experience required
+ 3+ years of financial planning and analysis related experience required
+ Experience in design, execution and production of executive management reports and presentations required
+ Experience interfacing and communicating with C-Suite preferred
+ Project management experience preferred

The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for any applicable differentials (geographic, bilingual, or shift) that could be associated with the position or where it is filled. At Commerce, compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each situation. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay is $70,500 to $94,500 annually.
