Job expectations include applying sound judgment, focusing on key areas of borrower, investor, and corporate impact to ensure accurate management and administration of the portfolios. **Responsibilities:** + Handles complex and varying levels of transactions requiring subject matter expertise of Loan Servicing and forensic accounting to resolve aged and complex transactional issues + Reviews and understands legal contracts and government regulations to manage the collateral of the investor + Provides support and assistance to team manager while mentoring teammates + Possesses working knowledge of the mortgage business and financial reporting and analytics **Skills:** Analytical Thinking Attention to Detail Process Performance Measurement Reporting Research Critical Thinking Data Collection and Entry Oral Communications Result Orientation Written Communications **Job Specific** **Responsibilities** + Reporting, remitting and reconciling Investor loan portfolios according to investor requirements + Reviewing data to ensure all calculations have been performed per investor requirements and make corrections accordingly + Responding to inquiries from investors and internal departments accurately and timely + Handling all Investor remittance requirements + Preparing bank reconciliations, conducting applicable research and initiating actions for timely and effective clearing of items (i.e. Cash-to-Test and Pool-to-Security Research) + Performing functions as outlined for the Investor Analyst as necessary to accommodate workflow and meet established deadlines + Preparing audit confirmation forms received from investors , or assisting in providing internal and external auditors in obtaining and verifying accuracy of investor reports, remittances, and reconciliations + Performing related tasks as required **Required Skills:** + Strong communication and problem solving skills are essential. + Candidates must also show characteristics including strong work ethic, attention to detail, and initiative. + Excellent oral and written communication skills; understands audience and communicates at an appropriate level of detail. + Strong drive for results; persists despite obstacles.
