Core Responsibilities

Provide active product expertise to crew and clients and to collaborate with business and investment teams to ensure the health and commercial success of the productsConducts analyses of investment product issues confronting Vanguard's product line-up. Leverages and manages cross-functional teams as required. Prepares and presents strategic analysis and recommendations to senior management at various forums.Acts as an active equity investment expert both internally and externally in the industry. Provides investment support and guidance to relationship management and sales teams; is regularly called upon to participate in meetings with clients, acting as a proxy for Vanguard’s portfolio managers. The candidate will serve as the primary contact in delivering investment expertise and capital markets perspective about the fixed income market.Attends and presents at industry conferences and client specific events related to the product category of focus.Leverages the client and sales feedback on products in order to assess product health and drive ongoing product improvements and positioning.Supports the creation of dynamic content used to position Vanguard investment products and to respond to investor queries.Creates and facilitates internal training and communications including training on launches and changes to existing products. Ensures coordination and consistency of product-related marketing initiatives and external communications across divisions.Contributes to business line research agendas to enhance client experience and business results.Stays current on industry, market, product, and competitive trends in the local markets supported.Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Five years related work experience, including three years experience in product management and investment analysis/strategy.Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience. Graduate degree preferred.CFA preferred.
