The position involves working closely with clients to ensure prompt and accurate responses and elections from fund managers, and submitting these to custodian banks for processing. The role requires verifying entitlements, managing trade exceptions, and ensuring the accurate and timely processing of trades, corporate actions, and transactions. They will also be responsible for reviewing reconciliation discrepancies, liaising between onshore teams and proxy vendors, and providing periodic reports to business units and clients.
