Financial Institutions Investment Banking Coverage
This position is for a 1st or 2nd Year Associate role with the Financial Institutions investment banking coverage team. In this role you will support deal origination and transaction execution within FIG’s sectors, comprising Specialty Finance, Asset Management, Insurance, Market Structure (broker / dealers, FinTech, exchanges, etc.), and Banks. We are looking to fill this role in our Charlotte office, but we also have a team based in New York.
In this role, you will:
Participate in analyzing companies and client investmentsMake recommendations to clients on investmentsIdentify opportunities for process improvements within Investment Banking ProgramReview and analyze market data, valuation analyses, models, and presentations that require research, evaluation, selection of alternatives, and exercise independent judgment to guide medium risk deliverablesPresent recommendations for resolving business challenges and exercise independent judgment while developing expertise in the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirementsCollaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goalsInteract with internal and external customers
