About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking an Investment Banking Associate to join our Energy and Power coverage team.
In this role, you will:
Participate in analyzing companies and client investmentsReview and analyze market data, valuation analyses, models, and presentations that require research, evaluation, selection of alternatives, and exercise independent judgmentPresent recommendations for resolving business challenges and exercise independent judgment while developing expertise in the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirementsCollaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goalsInteract with internal and external customersDevelop Investment Banking Analyst talentRequired Qualifications:
2+ years of Investment Banking Program experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, educationDesired Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in Investment Banking working with Energy and Power clientsAbility to work effectively, as well as independently, in a team environmentAbility to work in a fast-paced deadline driven environmentStrong financial modeling skillsStrong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skillsExcellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillsStrong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracyBachelor's Degree with academic distinction and coursework in financial accounting and corporate financeProfessional experience through internships, part-time or full-time work, and/or extracurricular activitiesDedication to building a career in Investment BankingWillingness to work long hours in a demanding, highly focused collaborative and fast paced team environment with a sense of personal accountability and urgency for achieving resultsJob Expectations:
Registration for Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 63, and Series 79 must be completed within 90 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hireThis position may require you to meet FINRA registration requirements, which states that Associated Persons (AP) cannot be subject to statutory disqualification, in addition to regulatory and compliance requirements, including successful completion of criminal and regulatory checks and disclosure reviewsAdditional Compensation Details:
Base pay range: $175,000-$200,000May be considered for an annual discretionary bonusPosting End Date:
