Investment Banking Associate - Energy
**About this role:** Wells Fargo is seeking an Investment Banking Associate to join our Energy and Power coverage team. **In this role, you will:** + Participate in analyzing companies and client investments + Review and analyze market data, valuation analyses, models, and presentations that require research, evaluation, selection of alternatives, and exercise independent judgment + Present recommendations for resolving business challenges and exercise independent judgment while developing expertise in the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements + Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals + Interact with internal and external customers + Develop Investment Banking Analyst talent **Required Qualifications:** + 2+ years of Investment Banking Program experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education **Desired Qualifications:** + 2+ years of experience in Investment Banking working with Energy and Power clients + Ability to work effectively, as well as independently, in a team environment + Ability to work in a fast-paced deadline driven environment + Strong financial modeling skills + Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills + Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills + Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy + Bachelor's Degree with academic distinction and coursework in financial accounting and corporate finance + Professional experience through internships, part-time or full-time work, and/or extracurricular activities + Dedication to building a career in Investment Banking + Willingness to work long hours in a demanding, highly focused collaborative and fast paced team environment with a sense of personal accountability and urgency for achieving results **Job Expectations:** + Registration for Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 63, and Series 79 must be completed within 90 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hire + This position may require you to meet FINRA registration requirements, which states that Associated Persons (AP) cannot be subject to statutory disqualification, in addition to regulatory and compliance requirements, including successful completion of criminal and regulatory checks and disclosure reviews ​ **Additional Compensation Details:** + Base pay range: $175,000-$200,000 + May be considered for an annual discretionary bonus **Posting End Date:** 15 Sep 2025 **_*Job posting may come down early due to volume of applicants._** **We Value Equal Opportunity** Wells Fargo is an equal opportunity employer.
