As an Associate you will act as an integral part of the deal team; leading financial analysis, providing qualitative input to materials, and supporting analyst workflow. You will participate in client calls and presentations and involved in day-to-day communication with clients. RBC works on high profile transactions primarily for large cap corporates and financial sponsors. What will you do?Perform and review financial valuation, discounted cash flow and comparable companies multiples-based valuation analysesPrepare pitch books and live deal materials, such as confidential information memorandumsBuild and use complex financial modelsAnalyse detailed corporate and financial informationAbility to present detailed quantitative analysis and qualitative commentaryParticipate in the execution of M&A transactions, including active participation in due diligence, document preparation, negotiation etc and liaise with relevant counterpartsWhat do you need to succeed?Fluency in Dutch and English Bachelor’s degree, MBA, MA or MS or equivalent in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or another quantitative/analytical area of study, with demonstrated record of high achievement.Related professional investment banking and/or “Big 4” consulting/advisory experience.Quantitative and qualitative analytical skills; strong knowledge of finance, particularly with respect to accounting and corporate finance.Demonstrated experience with discounted cash flow, LBO, and/or Merger modelling.Highly motivated, committed and responsible, with a demonstrated ability to manage conflicting priorities and requests.Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to establish and maintain relationships at all organizational levelsStrong oral and written communication skills.Ability to take initiative and function independently balanced with strong teaming skills.Maintain high standards of professional and ethical conductWhat is in it for you?We thrive on the challenge to be our best - progressive thinking to keep growing and working together to deliver trusted advice to help our clients thrive and communities prosper.
