The Baird GP Solutions Group collaborates with Baird’s sector and product teams to advise sponsor clients on private secondary market transactions, ranging from single and multi-asset continuation funds, tender offers and strip sales to bespoke financings including NAV-based loans and fund-level preferred equity financings.
As an Investment Banking Associate, GP solutions, you will:
Work closely with senior management and will be charged with executing and contributing to the investment banking presence in GP Solutions.
Provide the support to build a meaningful franchise in the sector, with a focus in Secondary Advisory.
Establish and maintain strategic dialogues with existing and potential clients, providing financial advice and solutions to problems
Foresee where the business development opportunities exist.
Hone your skills by working closely with senior bankers and client senior management on a variety of transactions.

What we look for:
Candidates must have at least three years of experience working on a team of investment bankers with a focus on GP Solutions.
Deep knowledge of Secondary Advisory and demonstrated ability to effectively execute complex transactions in Secondary Advisory.
Proven strength in originating, structuring, and executing complex merger and acquisition transactions highly preferred
Proven academic credentials, including an advanced degree such as an MBA or J.D. is preferred.
Baird values superior intellect demonstrated leadership ability, attention to detail, effective team play and a commitment to excellence.
Candidates must display proven analytical skills and an ability to learn in a solution-focused environment.
Series 63 & 79 licensing preferred or the ability to quickly obtain.

Min: $175,000 - Max: $200,000 Annual Salary
