What is the opportunity?

We are currently looking for an Analyst to join our Communications, Media & Entertainment sector team. This will be to work on preparing market analysis, strategic analysis and valuation/financial modelling for clients in the communications infrastructure sector, as well as advising clients on their strategy and the successful implementation of transactions.

What will you do?

Assisting in execution of mandated dealsAssisting in preparation of marketing pitchbooks and related materialsGathering public information through numerous sourcesCreating financial model analysesAnalysing company performance on an absolute and relative basisDrafting marketing documents for clientsProducing and maintaining various databasesGeneral research

What do you need to succeed?

Must have

Candidates should have some knowledge of financial services, accounting and regulatory capital through their current employmentAn understanding of the communications infrastructure sector, the key players, strategic dynamics as well as the current issues facing the sectorSound judgment, particularly in valuation matters, with strong analytical skillsSound judgement, particularly in valuation matters, with strong analytical skillsInterpersonal skills with the ability to interact with clients at all levelsRigorous work ethic and willingness to invest time required to meet deadlines while completing assignments accuratelyKnowledge of Investment Banking services and the ability to apply them creatively to diverse client needsAdvanced computer skills: Excel, Word, PowerPointSome information source experience: Bloomberg, Reuters, Thomson Financial

Nice to have

Additional European language skillsCFA level 1, 2 or 3 or ACA is desirableDegree level qualification or equivalent
