What is the opportunity?

RBC Dominion Securities is currently seeking an Investment Associate to join a large portfolio management team specialized in providing wealth management services to a sophisticated clientele. You will provide dedicated support to the portfolio management team on investment and money management activities.

What will you do?

Support the portfolio management team in general administrative duties in the management of client accountsExecute on trades as directed by the portfolio management teamFollow up on orders to ensure proper settlement and deliveryReview portfolios regularlyRebalance portfolios with guidance from the portfolio management teamManage risk dashboard, bulk trading, Investment Policy Statements (IPS), etc.Review reports daily and process any necessary corrections and actions

What do you need to succeed?
Must-have

Post-secondary degree in finance or a related area of studyCanadian Securities Course (CSC) and Conduct and Practices Handbook Course (CPH)Minimum of 2 years of professional work experience within the investment industryBilingualism (English and French) required, as you will regularly do business with RBC partners and/or employees across Canada with English and French speaking needsStrong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 apps (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
