Reporting to the Managing Director responsible for the Absolute Return, Credit and Fixed Income portfolios, the Analyst will be an integral part of the investment team and will ideally have had exposure to various asset classes. The role involves assisting with sourcing, evaluating, and monitoring external managers, as well as contributing to asset allocation, portfolio construction, and risk management decisions. The ideal candidate should be deeply dedicated to Getty and its mission.

Major Job ResponsibilitiesThis role encompasses a range of responsibilities, including but not limited to those outlined below.
Conducting comprehensive research and data analysis on investment managers, markets, and opportunitiesAssisting with the due diligence processes for prospective investments, including meeting summaries, data room management, investment memo preparation, and quantitative analysisMonitoring existing manager relationships by analyzing and summarizing qualitative and quantitative updatesContributing to the development and review of quarterly Investment Committee meeting materialsGenerating reports in collaboration with the investment operations team to analyze fund, asset class and portfolio-level exposures, risk metrics, fund flows, liquidity, and performance Coordinating reference calls, legal reviews, funding sources, and operational requirements with internal operations staff and outside service providersRemaining current on investment strategies, portfolio positions, new managers and market trends by conducting independent research and attending conferences Building and maintaining a network of industry contacts within the investment communityEngaging in projects across all asset classes and assisting colleagues as needed Qualifications College or university degree2-5 years of relevant experience at a foundation, endowment, family office, financial institution, or consulting firm Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Intellectually curious and motivated self-starterProficient in multitasking and deadline managementExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong quantitative and analytical skills integrating a data-driven approach to investment diligence and researchStrong organizational skills with a high attention to detailStrong computer skills and adeptness at learning new technology, familiarity with Caissa and Bloomberg a plusTeam-oriented and willing to roll up their sleeves to contribute to the group’s common objectivesHigh level of integrity, honesty, and sense of fiduciary duty Benefits and PerksHere are just some examples that Getty offers/provides for full-time employees:
