Discover Impactful Work: In this role, you'll help expand cyber fraud investigations and analysis into new regions! Responsible for detection and investigation of suspected cyber fraud attempts, the Budapest-based EMEA Investigative Analyst will partner with U.S. and APAC based peers to mitigate cyber fraud. You will also have opportunities to recommend program improvements and learn from the best!
A day in the Life:Identify and respond to cyber fraud alerts and issuesConduct investigations using various tools including OSINT, transactional data, third-party toolsCollaborate with multi-functional teams to collect additional details to support the investigationCreate detailed documentation and reporting clearly and concisely in case management systemsPrepare reports for partners, leadership and law enforcementCollaborate with key partners in sales, finance, and customer service; participate in team meetings to share insights and discuss current projectsUse lessons learned to recommend process improvementsKeys to Success:EducationBSc or MSc degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, or related field experience and/or equivalent combination of education and investigations experience.Experience1-2 years analytical experience preferredExperience in using AI for analysis and process improvement preferred.Experience in Law Enforcement and/or corporate security preferred, but will train.Finance and accounting experience, a plusKnowledge, Skills, AbilitiesStrong time management and understanding of how to prioritize tasksAbility to make informed analytic judgements and accurately and thoroughly detail findings in a written and/or presentation formatAbility to build content; strong storytelling abilities and clear ability to turn sophisticated ideas into simple messages.Demonstrate a good sense of curiosity and persistence when uncovering patterns, anomalies, and root causes.Apply critical thinking to prioritize cases by raising urgent threats while efficiently handling routine case workAssist with reporting and crafting presentations for leadership related to threat intel, trends and metrics.
