Responsibilities
The Materials Management Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient flow and availability of materials within an organization. This position is responsible for handling, distributing, and managing the inventory of materials and supplies, supporting various departments to meet operational demands. The MMT ensures accuracy in inventory records, maintains stock levels, and supports supply chain operations to optimize productivity and cost-efficiency.
Disinfects medical equipment and procedure carts per department procedureReceives, stores, issues and delivers supplies and equipment.Prepares equipment and supplies for shippingPerforms daily counts of par-level locations via hand-held technology, approved supply storage system or materials management information system.Performs data entry of stock items issued from inventory.Maintains hospital inventory and materials management work areas in a clean and orderly manner.Participates in inventory/cycle counting process per department procedureDignity Health now offers an Education Benefit program for benefit-eligible employees after 180 days. Qualifications
Minimum:
High School Diploma or equivalentSix to twelve months of inventory management experienceTwo years or more experience working with large ERP systemsPreferred:
